Thatched House

Thatched House is a nice place to visit if you've never tried 'Nyama Choma' (BBQ meat) with kachumbari (salad). It's an East African cuisine with a pub atmosphere, and turns into a night club if the drinks are going down well!

Ingredients:
60ml golden rum
15ml lime juice
1 tsp. honey
150ml champagne
To prepare; mix rum, lime juice, and honey thoroughly with cracked ice in a chilled cocktail shaker, then pour unstrained into a Collins glass. Fill with champagne. (We recommend using Captain Morgan rum.)

This venue has a great view and a spacious environment, perfect if you are looking for an open setting. There are a few places to visit on the day as it's usually busy so there'll always be something to do!

45ml Cointreau
120ml - 180ml Champagne
To prepare; combine the brandy, whisky, and Cointreau in a glass. Top off with room-temperature champagne.

1 bottle of soda water
1 orange rind
Pineapple slices
Orange slices
To prepare; deposit the ingredients and a berg of ice in a punch bowl. Decorate with sliced fresh pineapple and orange and plenty of fresh mints. Crushed fresh strawberries add a gala touch, plus some flavour

To prepare; pour Prosecco into a champagne glass. Top with peach purée.

4 oz. brut champagne
To prepare; pour absinthe into a champagne flute and add iced brut champagne until it clouds up (at least 4 ounces).
