Jarida la Kusafiri #24 - Fathers Day


Father's Day is a celebration honoring fathers and celebrating fatherhood, paternal bonds, and the influence of fathers in society. It was first proposed by Sonora Dodd of Spokane, Washington in 1909. It is currently celebrated in the United States annually on the third Sunday in June.


So here at Muratina we've put together some destinations you can celebrate Fathers day at.


Adulis

If your heading to South London you should try Injera with Tsebhi (Stew) which is one of the main traditional foods in Eritrean cuisine. Injera, also called Taita, is a leavened pancake made with sourdough of Taff flour, hence the tangy flavour. Tsebhi is mainly prepared with beef, chicken, mutton or vegetables. As well as Tsebhi, Eritrean cuisine comprises a variety of vegetarian dishes.
